Welcome to the World of Old-Fashioned hair!
The purpose of this blog is to encourage all women (and perhaps a few men with long hair!) to embrace the hairstyles of the past and not be afraid to return to those old romantic days of ringlets and braided buns. So heat up your curling irons, exercise your hairbrush arms, and let the styling begin!

YES! I adore old-fashioned hairstyles (though, alas! I know not how to fashion them myself), and definitely have the required long hair. This is such a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI will be posting instructions for hairstyles soon!
ReplyDeleteHoorah! Ideas of what to do with my hair!!!! My hair is somewhat shorter now, but I cannot wait to try some new things! :) Thank you a million Robin!

Vintage styles are comely and have an undeniable grace that remind us of our former days; days that in which beauty was appreciated and put into one's lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteI really want to know how to 1930's and 1940's hairstyles. I have seen a lot of ways on the internet of how to do finger waves and pin curling but I really would like to know if there is an easier way to get a 1930/40's look quickly without all the gel and curling especially as I have about half an hour to get ready before school and we have to put our hair up! If you know any ways to do this i would be very grateful. Thank you.
